Musician, singer and songwriter. He lives and performs in Salt Lake City, Utah. Russell's professional musical career began in Sun Valley, Idaho during the 1977-78 ski season, performing nightly at two restaurants. Since then he has continued to play in restaurants in Salt Lake such as Ruth's Dinner, DB Coopers, Hot Rod Hundley's, The Pie Pizzeria, Gepettos, VFW clubs and The Grapevine. Russell has performed at the Salt Lake Arts Festival, West Side Arts Festival, Barnes & Noble Bookstores, private parties and weddings. Russell also co-hosted an open mike Acoustic Jam Night at Grizzlies Bar. He plays guitars, banjo, keyboards, dobro, harmonica, mandolin and ukulele.  Russell plays all the insturments in his songs through the miracle of multitrack recording.
