Ryan Jarvis is a multi-talented artist that has focused his passion for music into his solo and collaborative production efforts. He is a singer/songwriter with strong emphasis in acoustic arrangements with the ability to pick-up any instrument and back the most talented artist. Ryan has developed a unique sound over the past few years; encompassing everything from blues-rock to adult contemporary styles with emphasis on crafting in jazz chords and memorable lyrics that are hard to get out of your head. This combination has become a mainstay in Ryan's music. Jarvis began playing music at the age of 7 and has rarely had a day without a guitar in hand and song in his head. He has always known that he wanted to be a singer/songwriter and all of his mentors and teachers have continued to nurture this desire. His dedication to a music career has been evident in his songwriting development, skilled musicianship and production. Since early in his career, Ryan has played many of the local open-mics in the Chicago area, summer festivals, and local gigs and events. Jarvis has performed in various Chicago venues such as The Excaliber, The Abbey Pub, The Heartland Café, North Beach, Stillwater and This is the Place. In addition to local appearances, Ryan's opportunities have provided an avenue for him to perform in Nashville at The Listening Room and in Los Angeles at the Grammy Museum and El Rey Theater. Each performance is filled with a taste of Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Jazz and Adult Contemporary, most of which is original music.
