Even though she was young, she experienced firsthand every aspect of the music industry. They settled in the thriving metropolis of Atlanta GA. During her early years of Elementary school Slims developed A Talent for Entertainment. Modeling was always modeling her passion. Throughout her younger years she went to Many Open Modeling casting Calls. In Early 2003 She Auditioned for Pro scouts Model Search in Atlanta Ga. This is Where it really all began .Salma was picked out of 800 models from all over the world to take Part in the Actors and modeling workshop. There she meet Famous Model Didyier Synder ,American television personality, philanthropist, interior designer, carpenter, home inspector, motivational speaker, and author. She is well known for her roles on the ABC Network program Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Amazing Vacation Homes on the Travel Channel. Diydier was a Major influence on Slims career. Late after Meeting Didier, Salma Was invited to meet with A Florida modeling Agency to sign a two year deal. Unfortunately for The young Entrepreneur the Deal Did Not Go As Planned. 2 years later she tried her luck with elite model management Located In the metropolitan area of Atlanta GA. She auditioned for the top Notch Modeling Agency in hopes of being the new fresh face of the management. Not only was the young start recommended to the agency she was scouted to Elite by Pro scout Model Search. Following Into another unfortunate situation the star did not sign with them. Taking a second loss she tried her luck one more time With New Faces Talent Agency. She and her mother were very excited to find out that she was to be casted for a very big role on A Television Sitcom. Come to find out the Agency was a Scam off Craigslist and There was never a TV Show. Still staying strong she took this Downfall and created a Very emotional mind pointing it toward her Stage presence. In The 5th Grade the star Along with two other girls took the stage in Annie Get Your Gun a musical with lyrics and music written by Irving Berlin and a book by Herbert Fields and his sister Dorothy Fields. She played a major Role in This play. Not only Did the Phenomenon Take part in her School Play she Won First Place at Norton Elementary talent show Performing Destiny Child Survivor. During her fifth grade year of school Salma became a big fan of R&B/Pop girl group TLC. After attending one of their concerts she left absolutely convinced that music was what she wanted to do in life. Fast forward ten years later, a chance encounter on myspace.com lead her to her past manager Christopher “Bigdawgg” Durham. Salma’s rapid fire flows and precision delivery are being put to go use as she records her first Debut Mix tape. Also be on the lookout for her single “Goodie Slim”. Currently working With Ida Manu’s Ill Mannered Entertainment She takes A leap in 2011 to be the best female Mc there is. The 3 artists are Laysia Pariee (singer/rapper) - Niko Loundon (Rapper) - Salma Slims (Rapper). Their styles and flows are so diverse, which is what makes them special. Ill-Mannered Ent. also has an aspiring clothing stylist by the name of Isaiah Cotton, better known as "Color Me Fly." His creativity is what caught the attention of Ill-Mannered Ent. manager, Ida Manu, whom is an aspiring actress/model/business woman. We also ave to mention, our other half of the team, our engineer/producer Tunez, our video director Shooter and last but not least Fosta (an aspiring rap artist) Our hard work, & our strive for success is what will make us reach the top!
