It began at the age of 5 when dancing to the acoustic instrumental arrangements in the Brooklyn N.Y basement of her Dominican family. Sanny Santos discovered a strong connection with music.  At the age of 11 she joined the local church choir of St. Margaret Mary Church in Queens, N.Y. This opened up a new form of exposure publicly. At age 13 she wrote her first song.  She had recorded it using a free recording software at the time (Audacity). At the age of 16 she was discovered by a Spanish music Bachata group called Iluxion whom at the time were in the search for their next female group singer. At the age of 20 she joined another bachata music group named Adyktion, she wrote songs and helped create melodies that established a fusion within both rythm and blues and urban bachata music. The group fell apart months later. She was determined to work harder on her passion and knowledge of music. She began performing, consistently writing and continues to express her emotions, thoughts, fun and heartfelt experiences with the world.  Sanny Santos has performed in venues throughout the metro NYC area, N.J and Pennsylvania. She continues her pursuit of music with so much passion and dedication. Her biggest event has been in front of a crowd of over hundreds of people for the ADA Association in 2010 & 2012 and she has also been taped on the Diamante Show on MNN. With no team behind her and a creative mind, young entrepreneur Sanny Santos is ready to distribute her love for writing and music. In her music you find pain, hope and female empowerment.
