Hi guys, my name is Sasha. I'm 23. which seems to me already too old.. i was born in Russia to musicians parents so i had no other choice, as you can imagine. and I'm so lucky. my parents decided to move to Israel when i was 6. i went on stage for the first time at that age and i didn't get off since then. when i was 11 i decided that i wanna try and sing so i went to a choir and spent there 6 years. we traveled a lot in Israel and in Europe. when I was 12 i went to an art school and studied theater for six years. after high school i joined the army (as most of the Israelis) and i had a great service as a soloist of an air force acoustic musical band. during my service i did some auditions for this program called "Kochav Nolad", an Israeli version of "American Idol" and some how reached the semi finals. i couldn't possibly know how this thing is going to change my life but it has. since then i worked parallel. as an actress and as a song writer and performer. i started to write my own music, took part in many musical in Israel, TV shows and stage productions. i performed with my music in Israel and was invited to perform in front of many Jewish communities around the world. it was a lot of fun! 6 months ago i took my stuff and moved to NYC. I'm gonna start my theater studies at David Mammet's "Atlantic school" for acting. I'm so thrilled about that! mean while I'm still doing music. especially writing. but now, as i know the city better, I'm starting to book myself some shows. so if you are in NY you should stop by and say hi!
