Originally born and raised in Hollywood, FL, Scott Houston set out to Knoxville, TN in the hopes of creating a better life. His girlfriend's job was relocated, and this seemed like a door opening to bigger and better things. Let's rewind...Scott has battled (and almost lost his life to) Crohn's disease since his 30th birthday. It was after this life-altering experience that Scott threw himself into his music with great passion and dedication. Scott happened upon an old friend named Al who was producing a CD for his wife. Al asked if Scott would play drums on the production for his wife's CD...and in exchange, Al would produce a CD of originals for Scott. It's been 6 very long years in the making, but the majority of the work has been done. The CD should be available very soon, and it is sure to be different than any originals that have been heard around these parts. This CD will be reminiscent of the old 80s Richard Marx lyrics. The music is upbeat, but still has that 80s feel to it. You will just have to hear it for yourself when it is finalized and ready for sale. Long story short, Scott's illness cost him a lot over the years...too long to get into here. But since moving to Knoxville, Scott has found a small group of very talented and professional musicians who have also become some of his dearest friends. Two of these musicians make up the classic rock POWER trio known as THE THREE TWINS. Let's put it this way...the amount of talent between the 3 of them is so enormous that they only practiced for 3 hours (and 2 of those hours were spent chatting) before performing out live together. People at their first performance asked how long they had been together as a band. When they responded with "a few hours", people were amazed. These THREE TWINS know their "bleep". They eat, sleep, and breathe music. This is why getting together was so easy and comfortable. Not much practice, and yet they just meld together. Their music has the "tightest" endings of any band around. They get along so well and have such warped senses of humor that it really spills into the audience and makes participation contagious. This band should definitely be playing in Vegas and definitely be playing professionally with a record label.
