Between then and now, the founding members have undertaken a painstaking search for musicians that, when added, serve to create just the right chemistry to make Sedna what it has ultimately become…a family and a Mission. In Jay Polk (guitars), Rob Hurley (drums), and Pat Lewis (bass) Josh and Mark finally encountered what they had been looking for…band mates with equal dedication, passion, and talent. The band's Individual perspective on Influences fuels its ability to make each song sound completely unique. This process entails never wavering from what makes a Sedna track truly groundbreaking, always recognizable, but never repetitive. In every sense of the word, Sedna is reality…a reality lived and a reality most are afraid to discuss and bring to the forefront. Sedna always wanted the music itself to reflect the intensity of the subject matter of the lyrics. Sedna would like to be known as one of the few bands that were able to make Metal matter again.
