Born in Kingston Jamaica, statuesque, flamboyant and strikingly beautiful Simone Henry (SHADE) broke from family tradition when she decided to pursue her life long dreams as a Singer, Model, & Actress.
Shade’s modeling career began in 1994 with the well known Miguel Models, followed with the Pulse International Model Agency. Shade’s face became well known, appearing in Local & International Fashion Shows, Talent shows, Local news papers & magazines such as The Sky Writing Magazine, Caribbean Vibes Magazine, Deco Dive to name a few
Currently Shade is working diligently on her album, in which it is scheduled to be released for the Holiday Season. Shade’s album titled “Life in the SHADE” will feature songs like “Moving High”, “Hot Boys”, “Saaf”, “Tasty”, and “Crazy”. This album will be released on the band's own label, with other well known artists like Junior Reid, Macka Diamond and other artists to be named later, initially in Jamaica, South Florida, Tampa, and St Petersburg.
In the effort to bring the highest quality album, Shade has teamed up with one of the world’s greatest reggae Engineer/Producer’s Karl Pitterson. Sir Pitterson has been dubbed as a bona fide heavyweight musical genius. Most true music lovers are aware of the massive influence he has had on the genre over the last forty years, most notably working with a lengthy list of stellar names such as the Legendary Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Burning Spear, and of course, Steel Pulse, as well as Robert Palmer and Grace Jones outside of reggae music
Shade's music is very energetic and "catchy". This diva is not new to the game though; Shade has been in the business for the last 11 years, working hard throughout her career to developing her image, personality and perfecting her talents.

In 2000 Shade recorded her first song "Big Ninja Bike", the song was recorded at Tuff Gong Studio located in Kingston, Jamaica and produced by Bunny Lee.
2001-2003 ' As Digita, the blue-haired beauty who plays a girl from the future that brought new technology via Cable and Wireless Mobile, Shade became a household name & icon. Shade “Digita” stormed the Island of Jamaica by doing television, radio and billboard commercials, and live appearances advertising for the telecommunication mogul Cable and Wireless
Shade has performed at numerous Jamaican Carnivals, weekly blow-out fetes at Marketplace, Constant Spring Road, Kingston Road Parade Floats, Cinema 2. Shade has also performed at other Island wide events and internationally, known as Digita during these events, representing Cable & Wireless.
During the same period, Shade again wowed the audience at the Miss Jamaica Fashion Model pageant 2001. She was placed in the top three positions that landed her modeling assignments in New York, South Florida, England, Milan & the Caribbean
Shade captivated the minds & heart of her fans and showed her appreciation at the well known Peer Awards 2000 & 2001 where she brought home 11 awards for Cable and Wireless
Awards ranged from “Best Campaign of the Year”, “Best Radio Commercial of the Year”, “Best Magazine Advertisement of the Year”, and “Best Television Commercial of the Year”.
