I AM A MUSICIAN, SINGER, WRITER, COMPOSER/PRODUCER  Music is my life and the passion of expression flows through me as a creative being. I’ll never forget the moment after my aunt turned off her organ and went to make dinner I turned it on and started playing I was only four years old and from that point, I knew music is my destiny. Four years passed and in the beginning of my third grade year I was excited to be a part of the school band, but it didn’t go as I expected. I wanted to learn and play the cello as my principal instrument but they bought me a flute instead and I was hating it because I couldn’t blow a simple (A) note, but after weeks and weeks of practice finally I played (A) natural. When high school came along my talent became even stronger. I bought a bass guitar and taught myself how to read the bass clef. At sixteen I made it a mission to practice as much as I can because I wanted to be in a metal band and in my room even though it drove my parents crazy I would play along to some of my favorite metal bands like Metallica to name one, but at that time I was destined to go another path with music. In my first year of college I was driven to learn how to compose music and studied music theory, ear training and film scoring and that led me to scoring the movie Who's Makin Tha Rules in 2005 and a documentary by Miriam E. Holder-Jacobs called “Roots Of Destruction” in 2006 when I called myself by the name Sisterfirelight. The film is about gang violence and had the mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa and Congresswoman Maxine Waters in the picture. From interning at studios in Santa Monica and  North Hollywood CA I used my composition experience and started producing different types of music from making dance tracks, rock, compositions to producing hip hop.
