My name is Shelby. I write songs and play guitar.
When I was 17, I picked up my grandpa’s old guitar after he had passed away and taught myself how to play. Through the hard times and growing up, I learned that writing songs was the best outlet I have ever had. Now 20, I love writing songs about life, love, and over coming challanges you never thought possible, because those are the kinds of songs that speak to me. In September of 2010, I released my self-titled EP on iTunes, and I played a concert with Radio Disney's Savnnah Outen and American Idols Blake Lewis. I appreciate and love all the people who have helped me on this journey so far, and cannot wait to see what the future holds for me.
