Shoboy is a Nigerian recording artiste making strong waves within the United States of America. Shoboy is an Afro/hip-hop/reggae artiste with hot songs in his debut CD “Hello World”. Shoboy is a Nigerian recording artiste making strong waves within the United States of America. Shoboy is an Afro/hip-hop/reggae artiste with hot songs in his debut CD “Hello World”. His songs were featured in the U.S.A. released Mix-CDs: “Green October Volume 1”, and “AM 419 Volume 2”; as well as in the trailer of the movie --“The Impostors”. Shoboy had opened for, and performed with various international stars and groups such as Olu Maintain, Tic Tac, Lagbaja, Tony Tetuila, Styl-Plus, Mike Okri, and H. I. Idibia. Relentlessly pursuing his music career, Shoboy had performed at upscale events such as DC Mayor’s Ball, Maryland Fashion Week, City of Wilmington’s 1st Night, FestAfrica, African Intercontinental Awards Show, Heart of Africa show, Nigerian Reunion, and Naija Ryders’ boat cruise. As a producer, producing music for his songs and other artistes’ songs, Shoboy was nominated as the Producer of the year 2006, by the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA). He had worked with artistes such as Jacob Nguni (Sweet Mother), PA J, Alejo, Abiodun Koya, Nostra, Raci Caprice, and Doris Iyawe. Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Shoboy arrived in Los-Angeles, California in December 1987, and later moved to Washington, DC in 1997.
