SinisterSouls is a coagulation; a pool of influence from the spirits and ghosts of vintage 80’s and 90’s thrash metal and punk, and some present day sounds that has thickened and clotted into a glistening mass of modern mayhem. The growling gut vocals from Nickademus and the thrashing guitar licks of Dr. Knasty (Jeff Beaumont) are emphasized by the simple but punctuating bass lines from Tim Fielder and accentuating drums of Mike Arcay. The members of SinisterSouls brought a common hunger and lust for a true thrash tone and varied individual experiences and interests in other genres including rock, country, rockabilly, metal, and others to a garage in Amarillo, Texas in the summer of 2008. The chemistry was instant and undeniable and they immediately began developing original works. Lyrics and riffs resurrected from frustrated past incarnations were given new life and were complimented with a profusion of new elements. The result is an aggressive, insistent, uncompromising flavor that smells and tastes of sweat and blood. In the early fall of 2008, SinisterSouls responded to the requests of a growing fan base by recording some low quality, foundation tracks in the garage and posting them on the SinisterSouls MySpace webpage. The fuse has been lit and SinisterSouls is ready to explode. Dynamic and energetic live performances, a sound that pays homage to true Thrash Metal and Punk, and a drive to do what is required to get their music into the ears of those who want to hear something sincere and genuine makes SinisterSouls a band to pay attention to.
