Both of them were heavily influenced by the sound of the mid nineties alternative rock bands and the "MTV unplugged" movement . Records like Pearl Jam's "Ten", Soundgarden's "Superunkown" or Alice in Chains' "Jar of Flies" had a big impact on songwriting and feel of "Stones In Pockets".Although the acoustic guitars dominate the sound of their songs, with Brazilian bassist Bruno Costa and Ecuadorian drummer Pierre Cardenas, "Stones In Pockets" have a kicking rhythm section that definitely defines them as a rock band.Their self-produced, currently untitled EP, will make it's debut this year.
