Siqsteen Barz is a triple threat producer/emcee/engineer out of Los Angeles who is always searchin for new innovative ways to be creative with the art of music. As a young emcee with no concrete foundation for music, Siqsteen always had the drive to strive for excellence with his music. Growing up in a single parent home only made things harder for Siqsteen but the reality of a dead-beat dad/absent father pushed him to attain things only dreamed about by his father. Never settling for less, he pioneered a Los Angeles hip-hop crew of 8 elite emcees whom he would be the leader and head producer. In Siqsteen's early days of music production, his tracks were very low scale due to a lack of musical equipment accessible to him. This would only push Siqsteen showing him the essence of hip-hop music which too started with the bare minimum. By studying classic producers such as Dr. Dre and Timbaland, Siqsteen was able to formulate his own style of production. From hard hitting club bangers packed full of heavy 808s to slow grimey southern hits, Siqsteen is an all around versitle producer carrying hundreds of beats under his belt by the age of 19. With his first and second solo albums "UndaGround Pro" and "UndaGround Pro v1.6" (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/siqsteenbarz), Siqsteen's street credibility evolved from "just another rapper" or "just another producer" to "OMG! Who is tha?." From there, versitilityBARZ was formed. This unmastered style incorporates comedy with a taste of street topped off with a bit of swagger. This formula leaves a listener all around entertained. Siqsteen is definately an emcee who is outside of the box. Being a hip-hop artist from the westcoast already has negative connotation. Siqsteen is out to prove wrong all the stereo-types about west coast emcees and producers. Living in the hood while trying to represent Los Angeles rather than "gangsta rap" is a hard task that is done successfully in his music. At the present time, Siqsteen Barz has one main focus which is to succeed in the music industry but stay true to himself and the ones who care about him. His current cd, "versatilityBARZ:2000wHATevER(Dropping May 23rd 2007) is an excellent album lyrically and pruduction wise. It features 16 tracks of pure fire that will definately keep heads knodding and the west popping. Great things are soon to come from this album. This cd is Siqsteen Barz giving back to present day Hip-Hop. Hip-Hop is in such peril due to the ignorance forced on us today called "hot." Siqsteen is a true defination of hip-hop music. He is not a puppet......He is ready to make change......But is the industry really ready???
