Six Day Slide was founded by the Fortin brothers, Dave (front man - vocals) and Drew (guitar), Matt Beals (bass), and Dave Jacintho (drums) in the fall of 2004 in Boston, MA. Six Day Slide has toured all over the Northeastern United States playing bars, clubs, festivals, and rock venues. They’ve had the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Sister Hazel, Teddy Geiger, Pat McGee, Will Daily, Dada and many other major acts.
The band’s single “New Day,” a tribute to a friend who lost a battle to cancer, is currently being distributed on satellite radio and can be heard at major department store and food chains like Lowes, JC Penny, Arby’s and Wendy’s.
