Sky Held Sun is a four-piece Americana/Roots Rock group hailing from Southern California, originally inspired by the music of John Bennett and Jim Volkert. Sky Held Sun is a four-piece Americana/Roots Rock group hailing from Southern California, originally inspired by the music of John Bennett and Jim Volkert. While currently promoting their newly self-titled EP of original material, Sky Held Sun is looking to impact the New Americana movement with the likes of their contemporaries - Wilco, Ryan Adams, and My Morning Jacket.
