Sleek Suzy is a brand new hard rock band with an amazing female lead vocalist! First conceived in early November 2009, by Thanksgiving we had assembled our first line up. Sleek Suzy is a brand new hard rock band with an amazing female lead vocalist! First conceived in early November 2009, by Thanksgiving we had assembled our first line up. Our first drummer went into rehab after only 4 weeks of the band's existence. Our second drummer (we are on our 3rd drummer already) was classically trained and left only because she was in too many projects already. The band's name, Sleek Suzy, was the only suggestion given by our lead singer, Sara Jones. It was never on the top of the names list, but managed to survive each round of elimination. When we decided on our second drummer after auditioning several, and along with our lead singer and bass player, she was a female musician, that settled it and we became Sleek Suzy. As of this writing, we have only one live show under our belt so far, 01/25/2010, exactly 2 months after the band first formed.
