Soapbox Hero is a Christian Rock Band that explores ways of bringing the melodies and harmonies of the 70's, the methods of today, and the lyrical format of the Holy Word all together to make up a more than musical experience. As an entertainment style band, we still maintain the educational and evangelical purpsose set out in the Bible, yet our shows tell all, as we are performers that compile acting, and music toghether. Our members are seasoned professionals in the music industry starting with, Chuck Hulsey, of Lomita's Carpenter Music School, has joined us and brings to the music a great flavor in his firey leads and counterpoint rhythms as he assumes the role of lead guitarist. Stacy LaMascus comes in with her beautiful voice to provide sultry backing vocals as well as that subtile voice in the lead of several of our songs. And finally, Jack King, the author and composer of all the music we perform. Jack's testamony and songs inspire people towards a Christlike lifestyle. Jack has been the driving force of Soapbox Hero from it's forming, always looking for ways to bring the Word of God to others in music without compromise. As for now, we suffer from not having a live bass player and are always on the lookout for that special someone to fill this foundational role. Soapbox Hero is on the move putting out multi-genre music that covers a vast array, and we will continue to perform as always with our whole hearts bringing our fans the best we can offer, always being mindful of God and that He is the real talent behind the band.
