They are the brain child of two high school friends from So Cal that started jamming in their garage two years ago. They're a Prog-Alt- metal group consisting of Joe Henriquez on guitar and Keith Quirk on drums. They've had a revolving door of bassists and singers (as well as a guest bagpipe player) over the last year but finally found a great bassist in Brian Tevebaugh, a friend from jr. high who finally accepted his own musical destiny. His unique ethereal tones matched well with Joe's melodic and encyclically moody guitar riffs and Keith's violent, thunderous and diversly helter-skelter drumming. all that remained was a vocalist crazy enough to enlist in their army of three. Ryan Urak was discovered in Pomona by Joe and, after discussing a musical vision, was quickly convinced to be the lead singer. His interests in traditionally indie pop bands made for a stark opposistion in lyrical imagery and vocal presence compared to the music. Many have compared them to Tool, A Perfect Circle, Jane's Addiction, and Deftones. It's clear, however, that this band is nothing if not its own musical genre.
