Sounds of Suburbia was created in Columbia, SC about one year ago. The founding creaters are Jess Strickland, Josh Adams, and Brock Rhoad (He likes to go by Brockly!) The definition of the name came from a sound that we were creating at parties and long drunkin' nights that we could not quite put a label on, so we thought and thought and figured out that we were really just playing out our daily lives in our music. If you like Rock, blues, 60's and 70's, bluegrass, reggae, pop, and funk then we might be a band that you would dig! On top of that we really love to play music together! Note that we are not exactly in a city that thrives on new music, we are doing our best to branch out to various cities and crowds with the hopes that people will be as excited about our music as we are!
