BIO. Sabahudin Agicic also known by his underground rap alias "Spiral" was born in the western region of the war torn state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Born April 22, 1986 in Kladusa, a town known for its beautiful scenery and tranquil way of life, "Spiral" came into this peaceful world at the brink of its destruction. Due to the foolishly prideful nationalistic views expressed by the citizens residing in the Balkan area of the world, the outbreak of ethnic war which was to follow in the 1990’s proved inevitable. “Spiral” would continue to reside in the his hometown of Kladusa, past the end of the war in 1995, until moving to the United States of America during the Summer of 1997 at the ripe age of eleven. The family finally escaped and was relocated to Saint Louis, Missouri where “Spiral” began his schooling in the northern region of town. He learned the English language in about roughly two years or so with the help of his school friends, television, and the popular rap music of the time. An upbringing tarnished by poverty, lack of parental role models, and domestic violence in the home caused “Spiral” to grow up quickly and become a provider for the family at an early age. Leading a life doomed to end up on a wrong path, “Spiral” turned to music and poetry to express his inner feelings. One of the most influential personas in young “Spiral’s” life came to be the one and only Tupac Amaru Shakur. In 2002, while driving home from another day of hard work and school he heard, “Until the end of time” by Mr. Shakur on the radio for the very first time. This incident spawned a chain of events which bring us to today. From his first rhyme in 2003 to his first mixtape release in 2005, “Spiral” has been recording and working on music since that day in the car when he heard the life changing song. Now living in Atlanta he continues to work on his music successfully releasing a total of five solo mixtapes including a group mixtape with the infamous Loony Boyz. With his next mixtape, Restless, already in the process of production, Spiral will proceed to prefect his music and hopefully change millions of lives with his art just like his life was changed that while driving home.
