He is accompanied by two long time friends, Zachary Barrett on drums and Nick Steckle on guitar. Their mission is to bring the good rock back and personify their surfer/skater lifestyle. The title of his newly released album "And That's The Way It Goes..." finds inspirations from popular bands like Green Day, Maroon 5 and Weezer. Lyrically, the simple confusions of relationships are a common thread in their songs as are references to their favorite pastimes. Each track is infused with energy and clarity with musical purpose. Skyler began writing music at an early age in hopes of starting his own band. He became a part of the Defamation League and became familiar with playing in the local club circuit. As a result his own band formed and began playing shows as Special Delivery. In addition to playing shows, the band enjoys spending time in Skyler's personal studio where they have recorded their first album and are working on their second. Being in there early 20's the band Special Delivery plans to take their careers to the next level. They know it will be difficult to accomplish their goals, but as one of their songs aptly points out, “It’s just a test, it’s just a test!”
