About Spell 336

SPELL 336:

Paul Lopez

Martin Huerta

SPELL 336 “Silence” has been up on my player for a bit here. For some odd reason it does not list the artist, but I’m telling you know. This one was kind of special for me since it’s my brother on this track.

In fact I remember when they recorded this because I was in the studio with them. This had to be in the late 80′s when this track was recorded, maybe early 90′s (my brother probably remembers). I just know that it was late, very late…some random studio and I was laying in the floor of the studio because I was damn tired and they started working on this song.

I knew that he started playing guitar after playing drums for most of his life, and I was blown away by the music that him and Marty (there have always only been two in this band with the both of them covering all instruments) made.

After many years of not playing they’re trying to rekindle a sound that to me was right on track with a movement of music that they could have rode, but of course all good things come to an end before their time. Hopefully this time around they can ride the wave out. -Anthony
