During his younger years he spent hours performing in front of his family, friends,or anyone that would lend an ear. Even at a young age he knew that he was meant to shine and reinvent this R&B industry.Overwhelmed with the abundant amount of male singers who clung to imitating Michael Jackson, Spence hung a quick left when everyone made a right. "Michael Jackson is and will always be the best entertainer that ever lived. I love Michael and no one can ever take his spot.But don't get me wrong theres no problem with learning from the best in which we all have, but when inspiration becomes imitation an artist looses authenticity. And with that said just about anyone can be a successful artist... just become a copycat!! Sad huh? But it's the reality.....most male R&B artist now a days are all the same, their either a carbon copy of another artist or just lacking true originality“ -Spence Taylor He strugled with finding a path of his own that would help people decipher him from others in this R&B game that comform to being a blend of what's "in". During his teenage years Spence attended numerous auditions and performed at local talent shows every chance he could. From parades to block parties,to a baseball stadium filled with ten thousand plus people. Spence brings forth a fresh sound and an innovative style uniquely his own with passion, realness and the relatable factor. With an animated yet captivating stage presence, he's guaranteed to draw in a variety of audiences. He exhibits a passion that commands the stage. "It's one of my songs that bests describes me & what I stand for in my music!" says Spence when describing his song "Psycho". A song in which he feels many people can relate to. A R&B club banger with a qwuirky beat that's sure to infect along with the catchy hook. "Psycho" blends R&B vocals on a "hip-pop" friendly beat that's sure to have the dancefloors crowded.At the age of 11 he performed the National Anthem for a popular sporting event with a crowd of ten thousand plus. The performance proved a success. The crowd rose to their feet and gave him a standing ovation. This was the day more than ever he was determined to make his dreams come to pass. He's accomplished so much, paving the way as a quadruple threat. In addition to singing he also dances, acts and models. He’s performed in numerous events and talent competitions such as Talent Rock (Which aired on "MTV" and "Fuse TV Network").He was featured in the major motion picture film “Marley & Me”. He also modeled for "GAP” .Dedicated ,strong-willed and ridiculously talented Spence Taylor is guaranteed to make a major impact in this industry.He strongly believes that if he works hard, stays determined, and stays true to himself that anything in this world is possible.And in the end when all is said and done his music will speak for itself.
