A producer, recording artist and founder/firector for Budabless records. Spiritman kazeem Kareem was brought up in a musical family. Growing up Spiritman had music constantly performed around him, being that his father is a highly respected and famous singer/musician in Nigeria. Spiritman would play on stage alongside his father and band at big events in London, with Congas, shakers and other percussive instruments. By the age of nine Spiritman was exposed to hiphop and soon realised his calling as an MC. Listening to artists like Wu -Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, BIG,Dr Dre and so on. Spiritman became heavily involved in the open mic scene in the UK. With a long list of PA's spanning 13 years, in and around london. Often times brushing shoulders with notable UK artists including, sway, skinnyman, kano and many more, at a time when there was a sudden surge in the popularity in the UK urban scene. Spiritman was approached by various independent labels as part of a rap group, COMPLEX MINDED SOULJAHS. Released a single title' L.O.N.D.O.N' with a video release which was well recieved within the UK underground circuit. Spiritman went on to study music production and started he's own production company Budabless Productions Ltd -2004. Which gave birth to Budabless records.
