Starting out in his church choir, Steven Chris began growing his passion for singing and performing at a young age and knew immediately he wanted to be a world renown entertainer. He began singing musical theater and opera to build his vocal technique and taking dance classes studying ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, and more. At the age of 11 he booked his first professional job as "Young Simba" in the Broadway Musical "The Lion King" in Hollywood at the Pantages Theater. In doing this for eight months Steven Chris couldn't get enough of being on stage. He continued on and booked other stage rolls such as "Chris" in "Miss Saigon", "Daddy Brubeck" in "Sweet Charity." On TV booking KFC & Target Commercials, and the hit CW show 90210.
Steven Chris is a passionate performer unlike anyone else. Incorporating singing, dancing, and acting in his performing, he becomes unique and gravitates audiences to him. His "Classic Edge" style separates him from the majority of the Pop singers, being influenced by the Classic Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire while taking the modern day edge of Micheal Jackson and Justin Timberlake, giving him a distinct look and feel.
