We are Stream of Consciousness better known as S.O.C. We are based in Mason City, IA and have been together for about a year and a half. We play alot of covers but have an equal amount of original music that we have written over the past couple years. Our genre could be classified as southern blues folk rock. We are Stream of Consciousness better known as S.O.C. We are based in Mason City, IA and have been together for about a year and a half. We play alot of covers but have an equal amount of original music that we have written over the past couple years. Our genre could be classified as southern blues folk rock. Artists that we feel we match closely with would be Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Widespread Panic, Blues Traveler, and the Allman Brothers Band. We are very much an improvisational band and no live show is ever the same as the last nor are the individual tunes ever played exactly the same way show to show. We continue to add to our dedicated fan base who make it out to almost every show we play.
