Just think of it as a soul “reality check” reunion. Just think of it as a soul “reality check” reunion. It’s been a long time coming but the sound of Suite 215’s Shekhinah B, Art Carr, Ericka Glenn, and Jonett D’Veauxbray will remind you that there is a soul factor in all genres of music that cannot be denied; and neither can they. The band easily evokes solo comparisons to Gladys Knight, Jimmy Hendrix, Billie Holiday, Paul McCartney, Mariah Carey and Patti Labelle, while collectively the Beatles, Rufus & Chaka Khan, Fleetwood Mac and Atlantic Starr come to mind. This is just the beginning of “The Suite” evolution so sit back, and watch as they continue to invent and reinvent artistry because just when you think its “Suite”……….
