Mini Biography
Modeling attitude with some R&B flavor (Who some might call miss in to everything the world has to offer and I’m taking it!) who was born on Nov 4th, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Long Island by her foster mother and father and been on her own since 18 years old. Judith began singing and performing in the school’s local choir at the early age of nine. It is here that she discovered her newly found talent.
Growing up in the inner city of Long Island, Judith witnessed many sides of black urban life in the USA while growing up, baby sitting when it was time for school and getting distracted by negative influences in her life. She then lashed out with her talent in shows and on tracks. All time favorites like Anita Baker, Patti La belle, and Luther Van dross), encouraged her to perform in local talent shows where she came in first and second place. That is where her talent turned into a lifetime dream.
In 2000 Judith modeled for Large Encounters evening wear under her stage name Sukari, she’s been featured on several Public Access Broadcasting shows acting gigs including the Inter Planetary Rapper, B C A T, BS TV and MTV up to 2003. Later hooked up with David Livingston and started hosting an internet broadcasting show called “The We Know What You Wanna Know Show” engineered, edited and produced by himself. She also performed at Club Shrine, Club 133, Vida Social Club in 1999 With her hit song at that time “This Love We Share”, It is through her hard work, dedication, persistence, and motivation that she is where she is today.
Her musical involvement evolved as an overseer of a group called Double Shotta Music” who founded and produced some of her first compilations called “Give Me One More Chance, This Love We Share and Baby Surrender” in 1998. Which she performed at Club Shrine, Club 133, Vida Social Club in 1999. Her new single produced by Pyramid in 2005 was entitled “What Is It I Do For You” is what has entered her now into the full aspect of the music recording industry.
"After what I've done in music, I'm looking to transform and focus as much as possible on theater and film work. I have such a passion for acting and the performing arts and I get real excited and enthusiastic from working in that arena, it's quite different than singing, and it’s a much different form of expression. It allows me to articulate different characters." – Judith Raphael.
