Superstar J began his pursuit of a musical career in 03' when he was introduced to chamillionaire by his close friend Marcus while living in Fort Lee,VA. Being a military dependent gave J a headstart in music because the ability of travel, so J actually has fam{fanz}in almost every state. Listening to the ability and tryna to create a similarty to Chamillionaires style J then recorded his own freestylez and let people around listen to him on myspace. Alotta people liked his work, so he then began to freestyle in public to get some publicity around VA. Later on around 04' J then recorded his 1st official track "Beatin Down Tha Block" featuring his cousin Lil Teck {Roderick Johnson}. All of ft. lee easily caught on to the song and began listening to all of J's music. After a brief moment of not rapping J tried to study the uses of youtube and other promotional sites. He then dropped a single calld "crank that spiderman" shortly after Soulja boy dropped his single "Crank That Soulja Boy" knowing the impact of the song and youtube video. As he notice he then had alotta fanz from that one song, he then switched his style up. That song gave alotta people interest in J's comedic skillz, dancing, and rapping ability. Superstar J as performed at many places (Richmond,VA, Atlanta,GA, Fayetteville,NC, Savannah,GA, Petersburb,VA, Hopewell,VA, Columbia,SC,etc...). He has been on a high school tour along the east coast. J has grown interest in acclaiming his own music label, so he formed his very own unsigned label called Block Starz Ent. The label was very successful, but being that the majority of the rapperz were military dependents so the group slowly fell apart due to everyone moving. J then focused on starting a solo career. He still made tracks with his friends for fun. With much success J was featured on a prestigous mixtape called "Deal or No Deal vol.2" with his hit single "Picture Perfect". He then pushed his music career to another level with another single called "Trendsetta". This single was featured on alot of radio stations and mixtapes accross the nation. J likes to keep his fam {fans} guessing on what kinda track he would drop next. J said "I like to keep my fanz guessing on whats coming next, alot of these artist are so predictable. I like to switch up styles so they be like wow!!!!",. J said Chamillionaire greatly influences his career because he is different than other artist. His songs actually tell you things and have meanings but they still are up-tempo. Late In 08' J then dropped his 1st official mixtape entitled "Tha World Premier Vol.1". This mixtape was very successful in exploiting J's Career. This mixtape acheived over 3,000+downloads. J now looking for management and is currently working on his 1st alblum "LOV3", and his 2nd Mixtape "Um Superstar J".
