Ed Porter (guitar, vocals), Chris Clarke (bass, vocals) and Andy Vincens (guitar) were all members of The Whiskey River Band. Ed and Andy also were original members of the Lynryd Skynyrd tribute band Street Survivors. Pete Clark (drummer, vocals) was an original member of The White Pigs, he and Ed also founded Christ Sakes an all original band in 1995. The band “Brother Earl” came together in 2005 the original drummer left in 2006 and Pete Clark took his place. They have been playing various parties for the past few years as well as bars, most recently they have become regulars at The Prospect Café in East Hartford. Although they mainly do cover songs, from Aerosmith to ZZ Top (they have over 120 songs to choose from). They also have originals that spark a southern/country feel. Because of their experience they do not hesitate to interact with the crowd, take requests, and get people up and out of there chairs to dance and sing along. The audience always reacts when they play Lynryd Skynryd’s Free Bird accurately, or when they put a southern feel to The Beatle’s Let It Be.Any venue would be amazed at the staying power this band has on an audience, as well as requests to have them play again. I’d like to invite you to visit their website and myspace page to hear some of their live recordings.
