Swift Voltaire was born on July 3rd 1984 in Flushing, Queens from Haitian parents who arrived in New York in the mid-sixties. Swift Voltaire was born on July 3rd 1984 in Flushing, Queens from Haitian parents who arrived in New York in the mid-sixties. Hip-Hop music quickly caught his attention as a child with music videos coming into prominence while, experiencing the artistically inspiring vastness of Queens. Voltaire soaked up the Hip-Hop elements more than anything else. After years of experimenting with different artists, Voltaire lost interest in music due to the direction hip-hop was going in the early millennium. In the summer of 2010 in an ‘out of the blue’ studio session, his cousin and producer Benwa Rebel; who himself was no longer working on hip-hop; revived their love for real Hip-Hop music, and they both made the natural decision to unite and elevate the music they grew up on .
