Her effervescent, warm and genuine personality,coupled with her creative, versatile, and unique lyric and entertaining style, accounts for her fast-climbing rise to fame.Significantly, to the delight of her many fans, Tavia has recently opened up on stage for Dorrough, Keak Da Sneak, Doey Rock, Bueno and Big Rich,broadening her fan base nationally.She considers another highlight of her career as being named the Grand Prize Winner of the DAME-FAME and Ozone Magazine Showcase in San Francisco, CA(July 2009).
Upcoming projects include her recently released EP featuring her songs, "Staring At Me", “Duck, Duck,Goose; Exclusive, and Shining Star.” She is working on her album, titled “Forecast,” featuring such noted artists as Marvaless, Triana, and Bambi of SheGetDoe, Inc. Tavia’s song, “Exclusive,” is the featured soundtrack for the upcoming movie, “Inner City Snow.” Tavia brings a fresh & unique approach to the artistry of rap with a mellow flow. She wrote & performed her first rap in 6th grade.In her own words, Tavia describes her music and life goals: “I’m striving to become a successful artist, endeavoring to continue moving to the top of the music industry. I want to always remain close to God and my family, as I strive to become an even better person. I endeavor to let my light shine upon people everyplace, and I stand determined to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate, always helping others.“I would describe my music as full of strong emotion, depicting life events/realistic, acting as therapy for me and my fans.
