Birth Place - Queens, NY. Birth Time - Between 12am and 1am. Ethnicity - Puerto Rican and Haitian (Black). Career Goal - Hopefully and God Willing, Becoming A Rapper and Producer. As a kid growing up I was always interested in music. Anything from country music to Hip Hop and R&B. Everything about music amazed me from the lyrics to the production. When I was around 9 years old I started really getting in Rap music; listening to artist such as Eminem, Dr.Dre, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, NaS, and Jay-Z. Hip Hop then became an emotional thing for me, a way for misguided individuals to vent their problems with no one to tell them they are wrong for their beliefs. Around the age 10 I would constantly rap along with rappers and pretend I was them, wanting to be them. This went on for about 2 years until I started looking more into the music and not just at the lyrics and artist's feelings but the production of the music as well, the feeling in the beat, the pain in the music itself, knowing that the producer worked just as hard (if not harder) than the artist did to make the beat that the writer would soon make into the next best song. After analyzing music in this way I began making beats anywhere from the table to beat-boxing whenever it was appropriate. Soon after that I looked into some production software called "Fruity Loops Studio 5" AKA "FL Studio 5". When I first started this hobby and tried to learn beat making it was a horrible disaster. Most of my beats were not even enjoyable let alone "Industry" ready. So for a while I took a break from beat making and moved on to a hobby that required more natural talent and a little more heart ache. When I was about 13 or 14 years old I was HUGE into Hip Hop listening to various artists such as Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Lupe Fiasco, AZ, Juelz Santana Etc. Then in that same time many of these artists influenced me to rap and try to make my own songs. At first I wasn't a success, I was constantly getting jokes made about my songs, people telling me I sucked and that I was not able to rap and they were bringing me down a lot, so I tried harder. Around the beginning of 2009 I put my hard earned money into getting my first official set of a equipment, consisting of a Samson CO1 Condenser Microphone, a Tascam US-122 USB Interface, a Pop Filter, a Microphone Stand, and last but most certainly not least Cool Edit Pro 2.0. The first song I recorded with this microphone was my first hit to everyone who heard it entitled "Be Mine Feat. Yung Ace" the song was loved by almost every ear that heard it (despite the horrible vocal editing lol) and people wanted more. So for the next two months I worked very hard every day to put together what would be my very first mix tape entitled "Step Into My Suit" which was released on March 14th, 2009. As a finished product my mix tape received very good and very constructive criticism. Since then the production of many things is in order and things will always be in production, I don’t plan on quitting rap, or producing, anything I might not have answered in this article, please, feel free to contact me or any of the members of Team STARKS!.
