Artist Information Instrumentation Singer,Songwriter, Producer Biography TERIN THOMPSON Myspace.com/terinthompson Terin Thompson came to California at the age of seven, bringing with him the musical influences of Chicago, the place of his birth. Raised in a single parent home, where resources were often low but love was always present, Terin lived the life often illustrated by the jazz and blues of his hometown. Always interested in music, Terin began singing professionally at the age of 14. While attending Burbank High School in Sacramento, a school known for its known for its tough reputation as a challenging environment, Terin became known for his vocal talent and soon was involved with various singing groups. One of Terin's musical groups, UNDIVIDED, performed at The Grammy Awards after parties three consecutive years before its members broke up to pursue solo interests. In 2000, Terin became involved in Fireworks Productions, a well-respected production company in Northern California, as a songwriter and back up singer. Since that point, Terin has collaborated with recognized rap artists Keak Da Sneak and Bueno, providing both lyrics and background vocals on soon to be released albums. Terin is currently working with Derek Allen, a multi talented musician who has performed with platinum artist Lionel Richie, among others. Derek is also widely recognized as Sacramento's KSFM 102.5 radio personality DOA, the host of the popular show, â?oFuture Flavorâ??, which features new and upcoming artists. Terin has been a guest and has performed live on the show several times, due to popular demand. Since joining Fireworks Productions, Terin has also set in motion his solo career, performing at intimate venues in the Sacramento and Los Angeles areas. Terin's latest venture is his most exciting. His first album Terin Thompson is nearing completion. The album, comprised of original songs written by Terin, and produced by Goldfingaz, of Fireworks Productions, is a mixture of smooth beats and hot lyrics is sure to be enjoyed by all R&B fans. The first single, Retro Luv, has already received rave reviews from musical producers, Brian B Morgan, producer of platinum group SWV, and George G-one-Archie, of Tony! Toni! Tone! and DJ Quick fame.
