Terry J. is a rare exception in the ever changing world of Hip-Hop. In a genre where new artists come and go plagued with gimmicks and schemes, Terry J. manages to remain true to himself while not selling out to sell records. Throughout his short career, Terry has won numerous awards and accomplishments for his rapping songwriting, and producing. While not yet a household name, Terry possesses the musical creativity and charisma to become one of the greats. With influences panning from Slick Rick to Kanye West, Terry is able to put together catchy, lyrical songs. The result of his work is a unique brand of Hip-Hop that can be described as a cross between Alternative Hip Hop and Pop. Terry is currently shopping his music to labels in search of a deal while preparing for the release of his debut single “Bag Em’ All feat. Max V”, which releases digitally on November 26th, 2008.
