Born and raised in Detroit, I developed an early love for the sound of the city. Music was not only my passion, but also an escape from an abusive childhood. Sometimes anything was better than where I was at, but music was by far the best place to run. When I was in my mid-teens, I started to play rythym guitar. I wanted to be a musicain ever since. I kind of laugh to myself now, thinking of how I didn't want to be the frontman, now here I am with a 1 man band. In the late 1990's, I discovered the genre that I was destined for. I was at work, and I saw a music video for one of my greatest influences. It was a new sound (to me) that was exciting because I knew this was THE kind of sound I was looking for. I'm always looking for something different in life and diversity in music. This led me away from mainstream, and to explore serveral sub-genre's including drum-n-bass, house, down-tempo, jungle, just to name a few. I never have a set idea of what a song will sound like- I get a small feel for it and it's like they compose themselves from there. I don't have a set formula each time I create. It just happens. The largest influences for me have been Led Zepplin, Hendrix, The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Rolling Stones, and FatBoy Slim.
