Evolving from high school students with varied taste and tendencies for metal into full college extra-curriculum, The Anemone is your Enemy is born from prominent members of ordinary high school/college bands who happen to find a common dream within each other, in the campus grounds of Thammasat University It started with a collaboration between Chai, the vocalist and Chone, the drummer with the two guitarists, Kor and Poom and the ex-bassist "Oat" as a cover band to enter a nationwide band contest. It was only the tip of the iceberg as we have never really study the whole picture of metal and jumped right at what being the most common at the moment. But as a cover band we learned the truth that the currents of the mainstream and the underground will change. It's only a choice sould we stay where we are or study harder into the music and create something new. We went on to win the in-campus band contests and start to learn little by little about the underground metal scenes of Thailand. This was when "Petch" joined and literally stunned the band with his talent, albeit for a beginning bassist. And we believed that we can create something new from all we have learn, and also we believe that rich music comes from well-contemplated lives and lush experiences. Although without the circumstances for total dedication for music, we're struggling the best we can. "A Eulogy" Is the very first project we put quality and character as the first priority, and we will only have to go forward from here on.
