It’s a fire that you can’t take away from five guys that have been playing music as a lifestyle rather than a hobby. It’s just something that you can’t simply dissect or analyze, it’s something you just have to see and feel when they perform or listen to their demo. The guys legitimized themselves as a force to be reckoned with when they won “The Battle” of the bands in Jonesboro, IN on August 27th 2011 and came out on top ahead of eleven other local groups. They are currently in the running for Piere’s Entertainment Center’s Musical Warefare competition. The Atlantis Invasion is an eclectic group of musicians that have been through good times and bad, love and loss, more importantly they’ve grown as friends and bandmates. Some might find it laughable that Van Wert could be the breeding place of a future local revival but at a glance it’s obvious that this band brings the “IT” factor to the table. The Atlantis Invasion is not disposable, they will not blend in, and they refuse to burn out. There isn’t one simple thing about this band that makes them unique rather a storm of influences, tastes, and upbringings that culminate into the sonic cataclysm that is The Atlantis Invasion!
