The Baby Grand is an indie pop band from Washington, DC. They play honest, original music and have been compared to Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, The All American Rejects and Coldplay. The Baby Grand is an indie pop band from Washington, DC. They play honest, original music and have been compared to Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, The All American Rejects and Coldplay. The Baby Grand's current lineup is Miguel Angelo Tenicela (vocals and rhythm guitar) along with William Tyler Butts (drums) and Aziz Dourachad (lead guitar). They have been together since 2010 and in that short time have released an EP "With the Wind" and an album "Renaissance". They were selected to play two dates of the Van's Warped Tour in 2011, played the 2012 CBGB music conference, the 2012 Launch music conference, the 2012 Dewey Beach Music Conference and the Columbia University "Relay for Life" event in New York City. The Baby Grand has done two short headlining tours, and have opened for numerous national acts as one of the preferred locals in the DC/Baltimore area. Recently their song "Ain't It Good To Be Young" was selected by Redbull Soundstage to be featured in a Rob Burnett (producer of Late Night) film "We Made This Movie". Their song is included on the official soundtrack. Several of the songs off "Renaissance" have been receiving regular airplay on idobi radio with each song having over 10,000 listeners per play daily.
