My name's Ray Bertram and I co-founded the The Back Country Connection with good friend musician John Surbaugh in the summer of 2008. The Back Country Connection is a band...sort of. We're actually an online creative group working together toward combining our common talents into marketable projects and productions. That's a mouthful of words, though - so we just like to say that "The Back Country Connection is a band...sort of." :-) We have a number of writers, vocalists, musicians, producers, and other industry-related talents working together cooperatively and our projects range from Country, to Folk, to Pop, to Rock, and beyond. You can find The Back Country Connection on MySpace and YouTube, too, and if you check our MySpace blog section you'll find a listing of all of our currently completed projects with working links. We've experienced an unbelievable amount of growth since starting the Back Country Connection back in the summer of 2008. We have a steadily growing number of songs out on SoundClick/MySpace and videos on YouTube - We've seen over 40 songs and 9 music produced within our first year. And to date, we are either working with or have worked with singer/musician/producers in America (Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio, California, Arizona...), Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Russia, South Africa, The Netherlands, and a few other places too. So if you enjoy what we're doing then stay tuned - we have new productions of all types and kinds in the works these days and being constantly rolled out.
