Their raw and intense live show gets any crowd on their feet. Lance Ayers, the creative force behind the band writes powerful guitar driven songs with lyrics and hooks that are not only incredibly infectious, but also deeply meaningful. These infectious guitar riffs combined with a beautifully strong voice fill a void in today's music scene.
T.C.V. is young. It was really during the winter months of 2005 that the band started to truly take form only to finalize as the lineup it is today. Lance Ayers (Founder, vocals, guitar, keyboards, and production), Tom Howell (Lead guitar) Chris McKenna (Bass guitar) and Myron Cherry (Drums) came together via the local Chicago music scene and have since then made immense strides as a commercially viable, entertaining, but most importantly, insightful and message driven band.
2006 brought the completion of their first full length album called “The Greater Good” and an EP entitled “Underground” and in 2009 The Circle View completed yet another full-length album entitled “The Dither Age” which is distributed via CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon.com as well as through performances and the bands website Facebook and Myspace. The band is also working diligently on a new album which they hope to release in the Spring of 2012.
Because each of the band members have well established musical backgrounds and formidable performance experience, the fact that they are a young band with a moderate number of performances under their belt has no effect on their sound and stage show which seems uncannily seasoned.
Who is The Circle View? They are the young achievers, the dreamers, the inventors and wall breakers, the movers, the shakers and the shifters. Their hands make music and yet they are also the fists of champions and freedom fighters. In song their hearts span the globe from Egypt to the North Pole... they are unique. Their skin is the color of strength, focus and earth. Their music is the color of freedom. Red, White and Blue.
