Daniel McLean originally wrote a four-song demo while living in his apartment after the six-year life with his former band, Atkins Lane. He had an idea to record the demo as a musical project under the name, "Daniel and the Delivery". He got together with his buddy, Johnny Yohman, and they recorded the "A Life In Boxes" Demo EP during the latter part of 2007. (The demo is still available at all live shows as well as at various online music stores...) Once he started to let the demo filter its way around, Daniel then decided that he'd like to get back into the "band thing" and mold the project into a full group. Daniel and the Delivery (the band) formed during the spring of 2008 and debuted live in July of that summer. Since then, the band has made various member changes while evolving into "The Delivery" and started hitting the stages again in February of 2009. The Delivery contains former members of local Hampton Roads, VA area favorites Atkins Lane, Standing Ground and Four To Nothing.
