Davey Rumsey formed the Del Toros after years of being a singer/songwriter act. In May of 2009 he independently released an EP entitled Your American Sin. Born in the summer of 2009, The Del Toros began playing local shows and immediately developed a loyal following while building a repertoire of rock gems. The Del Toros released their debut album entitled Come Down on July 23, 2010. Independently produced, Come Down was well received by both fans and critics and gained the Del Toros praise for their ability to transcend genres while still maintaining a cohesive sound.
The second album, Young Blood Rising is an album of simplicity. Simplicity in that the songs come from a place of honest ambition that will resonate within everyone who listens. It is an album made by friends who are united in musical vision and song-writing craft. The Del Toros have become a band that are no longer led by a certain song-writer, but a band that believes a song can only reach its full potential when worked out with others. That is what lies within every track on Young Bloo
Rising. It is an album brimming with the ideas of a band that no longer seeks to sit within a current trend or fad. It is an album made by a band that is unapologetic and brash in their belief and presentation of pure rock n’ roll. Listen to Young Blood Rising and hear a band on the rise.
