About The Everyday People
The Everyday People have distinguished themselves among the best in Austin, TX—no small feat in the town revered as the live music capital of the world. Playing a funky amalgam of rock and soul, the collective has propelled from local bar band to nationally touring outfit in a remarkably short time.
Their music is a soundtrack built with diversity and an infectious sound that would make a perfect backdrop to any of today’s hit dramas such as Entourage or The OC. The song ‘Austin’ released on the band’s first EP has already grabbed the attention of industry insiders and was quickly picked up by producers of MTV’s The Real World in April of 2005.
The Everyday People subsequently released the EP, “Complicated” which was met with high praise by fans and critics alike. Their dynamic stage presence and high-energy performances have garnered the band new fans every step of the way.
"You can't help but tap your feet, slap your knees and nod your head when listening to The Everyday People. And you can't help but think, feel and love this groovy soulful rock band." - Dave Terpeny, KyndMusic
A simple yet catchy fusion of rock and soul, their music fits under many umbrellas and has been well received by an equally diverse crowd. Soaring acoustic guitar lines, clean powerful vocals and compelling lyrical arrangements bring their music to towering heights. This new breed of radio-ready rock has music fans everywhere beginning to take notice and The Everyday People seem to be leading the way.
The band is made up by four parts of equal talent including Jeffery David on acoustic guitar and vocals, A.D.
