Born Claude Lanier, and raised in the infamous Chicago neighborhood known as K-Town, he grew up in a musical household. Music helped him overcome the tragedy and the many pitfalls of his environment. Finding that rapping lyrics was the best way to express himself, he began writing rhymes at the age of 14. Known by many from his allegiance to the Soldierz at War, today, Gingerbread Man leads “The Bread Makers”, a family of rappers that go hard and deep, with impressive sells to prove it, to the street corners slanging copies of their music all over the country.
