Evocative lyrics give The Glowbots a distinctive texture which separates them from the background of today's music scene. The Glowbots, through time, has matured and evolved. Once called, Remedy, the band opened for Sugar Ray in 2004 and also appeared in Cincinnati's 2004 Midpoint Music Festival with a set at Jefferson Hall.They recorded their debut album, "East of Ordinary," with music producer, and elite sound engineer of the Madfrog, Chris Schmidt.After the cd was released the band decided it was time for a well deserved break. Dave and Jake continued to play around Cincinnati under a new name, "Up and Away," with Patientzero front man, Chris Sarvak.They played a set at the 2006 Peterloon Festival in front of crowd 5,000 large and also opened for Brett Dennen in February of 2007 at the Poison Room in Cincinnati, OH.It wasn't until late December, the band decided to get back together under their new and final name, "The Glowbots." They are currently in the studio working on their new CD, with expectations of a late spring tour.
