Sadly a lot of the original Heatbunnies' music was lost due to hurricanes of forgetfulness and wildfires of passion. Never fear, rumor has it that locked away in cardboard vaults at the Moses Gay Lover Fan Club and Research Archive of Treasure Island, FL copies of released, unreleased, re-released, and re-unreleased tracks from the Heatbunnies could still be found. The bunnies have assured their fans that whatever material lie in those recyclable vaults, something in it must be salvageable. Otherwise the Heatbunnies are prepared to advance cottontails to finance new recordings.
The Heatbunnies have declined to comment on these rumors of recording and tour for large profit. To their fans this comes as no surprise. Ben Fucko, former frontman of the Cubes decline to acknowledge his former frontman status in the now-defunct band the Cubes, but he did said a few things about The Heatbunnies rumors. "The Heatbunnies unzipped [something deep inside themselves and us], and not only exposed it to the world, but shot it off the stage infecting everyone around them. I don't think the world was ready for that kind of raw,...chemical,...carnal communication." Fucko continued that he could relate to The Heatbunnies' "rejection of society."
Heatbunnies lore has it that after a few short months of playing music the group bought the compound of Master P (aka Percy Miller) at government auction for $1. the Heatbunnies have locked themselves in the Compound, surviving off of the land, ever since.
