In the summer of June 2003 Med..TaKisha Jefferson) was chilling at home watching videos on BET, and had a epiphany of starting a Hip Hop group. She contacted Felon (Jarrell Blanchard) and asked him did he want to be in the group and who else did he know can rap and would like to be in the group. They came up with a six member group from Gary, IN. called The Holocaust Camp(T.H.C.) which means destroying and eliminating any rappers that challenge them with their fire lyrics, bringing heat with their performance. Which shows all of their own individual styles that collaborate together making them who they are a unique Hip Hop group. The group members consisted of Med..TaKisha Jefferson), Felon(Jarrell Blanchard), Lunatikk(Wesley Ervin), Caliba(Damion Lee), Play Boi(DaLoren Lee), and J Phat(James Allen). In July of 2003 they recorded their first single Anotha Day Of Destruction and How We Flo their second single at Finger Roll’s Studio, a known producer in the Mid West. From there they recorded songs such as Bitch We In Da Club and No Chance In Hell, along with 8 other songs produced by Finger Roll of Notamin Ent. Their first performance was on Oct. 15, 2003 at Skate World in Gary, IN. They had an album release party for their first album (Days Of Destruction) at the Armory in Gary, IN. in Oct. of 2003. T.H.C. also performed at different clubs like Extra Inning, Satches and Face to Face, along with a performance at IUN University all located in Gary, IN. They did an interview and performed on a local TV show called Prime Time TV with host Prime Time in Gary, IN. The ending of September of 2004 T.H.C. entered a contest at Skate World against over 100 different hip hop artists and won opening act for famous Hip Hop artist Twista at Mc Bride Hall in Nov. of 2004 in Gary, IN., where he performed his 1 hit song in the country Slow Jams. T.H.C. continues to record and perform now with only 4 members. J Phat and Caliba departed ways from the group. T.H.C. did a show on Dec. 19, 2008 in Indianapolis, IN. at Cloud 9. Performing their 2 new hits Money Coming and Grind ON. They are currently working on their new album called Deep In the 4 Minds, to be released in 2009.
