THE MOST WUNDERFUL WURNOT BROTHERS The Most Wunderful Wurnot Brothers joint song writer alongside guitarist Wurnot Brother J. Also, I am the esteemed shed-builder in the band... Wurnot Brother's P - Bass and G - Lead Guitar, make up the rest of the band. Thank you for calling by to visit 'my' page - all but one of many on OurStage.com you could easily have happened-on. This page is just one of many millions of others you could be looking at right now, instead however, for some unbeknown, mysterious reason, your spirit has brought YOU here - to 'my' page. Why but why: Who knows. You don't know why and I don't know why either. That is; as yet? Well, while you here now, we may as well try to get to know each other; okay? My name is Bill. I live in a small, seaside town in northern England called Southport not that far away from Liverpool. (UK Post Code PR9 9XR: For GPS map location). I'm married to Christine and we live-out our comfortable retired life shopping (her) and playing in bands (me). We are true sixty's children in that way of both age and musical leanings. The pic shows me playing one of many-a-gig with the Party Band 'Super-Sensational Something Catchy'. In addition, I also play with 'The Bandaoke Boys', 'Tom - Dick 'n' Harry' and 'The Most Wonderful Wurnot Brothers'... keeps me busy. The music you'll find here below is original demo material conceived, written, produced and (c)copyrighted 2007/8 to Hart - Carney (Bill Hart & Jack Carney). I hope you enjoy listening... and hopefully in doing so; you'll find the reason you found your way here in the first place - sharing this with me - in the here and very now! Yours musically Bill PS: I hope you like the cover pic of our latest CD Palaver. I found it by pure luck at Granny Wurnot's house, tucked way-down the back of the seat-cushion of her favourite easy-chair. There it was fastened in tube-like fashion with an elastic band around an almighty thick wad of used £50 notes. A few short white hairs, some really mouldy Battenberg Cake crumbs and half-empty bottle of Absinthe were down there as well (They'd moved her out to the funeral home the previous day. I had thought this pic was long lost and gone, but Granny must have had it with her all this time. I'm so grateful she had the mind to keep it safe for me until now. The shot shows us 'Boys' in the dressing room before going on stage at the The London Palladium in 1964. We were playing our second Royal Command Performance in front of The Queen and Prince Phillip. We donned our charcoal-grey Saville Row Suits and highly polished Chelsea Boots, popped-on our mop-top wigs and sang to them for about twenty minutes or so. Brian (our then Manager) was truly estatic with the live performance and oh-so mightily relieved at one and the same time. That was because Brother J's joke about the "front-row audience rattling their jewellery" was told without him using any of his usual swear words - it went down a real storm. Granny had watched the show at home on TV along with millions of other Brits. To this day I wondered where that picture had disappeared to... Excuse me folks... the phone is ringing:- "Hi Wurnot Brother J. How are you today?" (A muffled angry, metalic, high pitched voice is heard). "Money. What money is that Wurnot Brother J?" (Two new, even higher pitched voice's now break-in). "It just never turned up dear Wurnot Brothers P and G. We looked just about everywhere in that house, didn't we?. I told you all before my dear Wurnot Brothers J, P & G. All 'I' found was that old 1964 picture down the back of her chai..." 'Click'. "Hey Honey. Peel me a grape"
